The Key to Having a Good Attitude

There are days when I fail to have a good attitude, especially when I am frustrated with my circumstances or when things don’t go my way.

Psalm 119:14 is such a convicting verse. The words that I say and the situations heart and mind focus on need to please Christ. When I remind myself of this important truth, I immediately take inventory of my attitude.

My focus should be on pleasing Christ and not on pleasing myself. This is a good reminder for me when I am faced with less-than-ideal circumstances. Today, I am choosing to say things and think things that are pleasing to Jesus.
