Outside my window…the sky is slightly overcast.
I am thinking…that I’d really like to go back to bed. I feel like I’m coming down with something and just feel puny today.
I am thankful for…a crate of romaine lettuce and several pints of fresh raspberries someone blessed us with.
From the kitchen…hot tea to soothe my throat.
I am wearing…a brown t-shirt, denim skirt, and slippers.
I am creating…a list of activities for Lil’ Nut to work on this week during our “Fun Preschool” time.
I am going…to travel to South Florida with a group of ladies from our church later this week. We’ll be attending a ladies’ conference at a Bible-believing church. I’m looking forward to it!
I am reading…in my Bible: Psalms; just for fun: Waiting for Summer’s Return by Kim Vogel Sawyer.
I am hoping…that the herbs I am taking are effective.
I am hearing…Lil’ Nut sing a song while she colors.
Around the house…laundry; ironing; tidying up the pantry.
One of my favorite things…orchids; they are simply elegant.
A few plans for the rest of the week…housekeeping; a trip to the library; get Buddy groomed; homecoming week festivities; attend an out-of-town ladies’ conference.
Here is a picture thought I am sharing…

A crate of lettuce? Yikes thats a lot.
Have fun with the school week!
OOhh…homecoming festivities…always fun! Your children look cute!
My teen daughter went to the Homecoming football game friday nite but unfortunately we lost! She did have fun dressing up for the pep rally though!
Those raspberries sound so good! I fell in love with them when I picked them fresh while in Alaska and just popped them into my mouth. It’s making my mouth water!! I’ll blame it on the baby. What’s the nutritional value of raspberries for a prego lady?
What a cute picture of the kids. One time when I was public school, we had dress like your principle day.
This was in the mid 80’s, and my teacher had bright red hair. I mean like rust orange. 😉 And it was BIG too, lol!
My sister curled my hair in sprial rods the night before, and we sprayed my hair orange.
I think I won. 😉 I think Mickey Mouse is the most tacky though. I can tell that Bookworm still has a sense of style to her. 😉
What church will you be going to? Every time I hear someone mention South Florida I always remember South Dade Baptist Church when it was pastored by Pastor Couey. We had such good times there!
I hope you feel better soon! Hot tea with a little honey sure does feel good on the throat.
Blessings to you,
Cute, cute, cute! We had a tacky party one year at a family reunion. The pictures are priceless!
I hope you are feeling better and the tea and herbs are doing what they are supposed to do…
cute picture of the kiddo’s..I do like the picture you put on your header..it has always been a favorite.
I hope you feel better. Love the photo 🙂
