We had a fun time yesterday celebrating Valentine’s Day and Bookworm’s birthday. She opened a few small gifts after breakfast, but I mentioned in another post that I had a big surprise planned for later in the day.
Here’s a closeup of the quilt. The sheets are the same pattern as the cream colored stripe with tiny flowers.
This pillow is adorable! It’s designed like a western shirt with the fringe and the front pocket.
The lamp was probably my favorite. It has a little horseshoe charm with pink rhinestones on the pull-chain.
I want to share the story of my search for these goodies, but that will have to come in another post!
The room looks gorgeous! I bet she was so excited!!
Such a wonderful idea! Do you know this post brought tears to my eyes? I can’t really explain why. Maybe because I never had a little girl? You are such a good mommy!
And now off subject, I noticed in a previous post you included a photo of OPI nail polish!! Don’t you just love the fun names they give those colors!?!
Mrs. B,
The only times that I have seen her more excited was when her grandmas have shown up for a surprise visit!
Pam,
Thanks for your comment. I sure am thankful for my kiddos!
I, too, think the OPI names are so funny. Bookworm and I enjoy browsing the names at the salon. 🙂
Beautiful! My Alaina would LOVE to move right in there. She is a horse fan, BIG TIME.
We plan to re-do her room this spring. Hope it goes as well as yours.
Wow!!!!!! That’s all I can say, Wow!!! I’m absolutely certain that Bookworm was delighted, the room is lovely, bright & feminine! You did a great job!!!
Oh, to decorate a pink and lavender room! I have 3 boys! It is so beautiful and so special. She will not forget this birthday.
That turned out so cute. I love the colors too!! You did a great job!!
What a great room. I know Bookworm loves it. I adore the throw pillow. The whole set looks fun and girly. 🙂 I know she loves it.
