I cannot believe it is Thursday already! Where does the time go? It has been busy around our house. School lessons are getting done, boxes are getting packed, and the kids are getting more and more excited about the move. I’ve been trying to find a few minutes each day to do something relaxing in hopes of keeping my sanity. This morning I treated myself to breakfast in the garden. By the time I finished my grapefruit I was starting to sweat. 🙂
My to-do list is getting longer, but I’m working on it. There are several bags of outgrown children’s clothes and shoes ready to take to the thrift store, and I remembered to call the vet and arrange to pick up pet records. The little details aren’t hard, but there are a lot of them. 🙂
The buyer of our house will be here later today. He’s bringing a home inspector along with him. Although we do not foresee any problems with the inspection, it’s no fun having people go over your house with a fine tooth comb. We’re praying everything will go smoothly.
The inspection is scheduled to take between 2 and 3 hours. I was planning on taking the kids to the park so we wouldn’t be under foot, but with temperatures forecasted to be in the mid-90’s I don’t think that is going to work. We may just stay home and intimidate the inspector. 😉
“Be anxious for nothing; but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.” (Philippians 4:6 KJV)
Here’s hoping and praying everything goes smoothly! I know when people have to inspect our home (in order to get our security deposit back) I always take it personally. ‘Cuz I always keep our home neat and tidy and freak out over the littlest marks on the walls. So for them to come back and say anything negative is like saying something negative about me!
And yes, it is so hot these days!

Praying all goes well with the inspection today~ Perfect verse!
Have a wonderful day and try to stay cool 😉
Great verse for you today!
Am praying that all will go well and smooth!
Stay cool…even up here in the northeast we are expecting 90 temps for the weekend…we ‘ll head to one of the lakes and use the kayaks we hope!
Oh, all the small details can just drive you insane if you don’t keep your eyes fixed on the big picture! 🙂
Praise the Lord He promises to “keep” our minds as well as our hearts, because there are definitely some days I would “lose” mine!
So many prayers being offered up for you and your family – and not just from me either!

It sounds like life is running steadily along. As these new changes occur I see you have the Lord right by your side!! PS love your little garden
Hey! You think you are sweating now, just wait till you move. This morning the newspaper was dripping wet from the humidity. And the wildlife was panting at our bedroom window begging to be let in to the air conditioning.
Just kidding. But it is more than hot that is for sure. And you have been here so you know what you are getting into.
Your new home, by the way, is just lovely. I can’t wait to see inside pics. I bet you can’t wait to see inside pics either 🙂
I am catching up and it is taking longer than I thought. Good to read up on things.
