We have had the most wonderful weather lately! Lil’ Nut and I spent a good part of this morning outdoors enjoying the beauty around us. While most of the country is enduring snow and ice, it feels almost spring-like here in Central Florida. I thought I would share a few January pictures from our yard to warm you chilled folks up a bit. 🙂When we moved into our house last summer, I didn’t realize that there were poinsettias in the planters out by the pool. At the time I thought they were just some dead sticks. They surprised us by blooming right before Christmas.
What lovely pictures! I must say that I envy your warm weather though. (o;
Poinsettias are one of my favorite flowers. Wow! Having them grow in your back yard. I can’t imagine.
I have to confess and agree with Michele above. Seeing these pictures does make me a little envious as well. We are in the midst of a HUGE snow storm right now.
The grass is always greener… Ugh!!
Enjoy your day!
Gorgeous pics.
We hike all the time in the Adirondacks and camped once near a lake where otters were plentiful but I have only seen them in the wild once! how neat that you got to capture him with your camera! Enjoy your weather…we were 15 degrees this morning here in NY.
Although I like having four distinct season a little warmth would be nice!
How fun to see the Otter! This Florida weather is so very beautiful :)!
Good for those in the north, but hey, could you please send some cooler temps my way???
I love otters–they are so playful. We had some in a lake that is about a mile from our house one year….but I have not seen them lately. Perhaps the gaters got them?!
Not so much warm as JEALOUS! 😛
What neat pictures and the poinsettia… how neat!
Well thank ya! I’m feeling warmer already. 🙂
I love to watch otters. They’re very interesting creatures. Do you get alligators in your neck of the woods there? And if so, are you afraid of finding them near your pond?
