Just in case you think my days are perfect, let me assure you they’re not.
This afternoon I didn’t get to sit outside and enjoy the lovely view. Instead, I viewed the artwork of my youngest child. It’s currently on display in her bedroom…
on the walls…
and on the furniture, too.
Praise the Lord, I have a whole box of M*jic Er*sers in the laundry room!
Someday I’m sure that I’ll look at these pictures and laugh. Today, however, I feel like pulling my hair out.
ETA: We also discovered pink rubber stamped snowmen on the refrigerator and on walls throughout the house. Wonders never cease!
oh my! hope the m*gic er*sers work! 😉
My kids used to do this and I always felt like crawling under the covers and hoping it would all be a dream!
I had artist just like yours in my house 😉 Now at the age of 5 they wouldn’t dare….or I would have a frowny face hehe
Hope you get it all off

Oh how cute, well not really cute but well, cute! LOL I do remember those days, having raised two boys!!!!
My daughter did the same thing once, except she did it on the inside of her closet door, where she thought Mom would not find it! The boys never drew on the walls . . . but that little girl!!!!
Oh boy!! Do I remember those days. Do those e*asers really work? I’ve seen them and heard of them but wasn’t sure if they were just an advertising gimick or if they truly work. I sure hope they do cause it is very hard to pain over that stuff. My son once did his “artwork” on his walls and even ceiling. He had a bunk bed and got up on top and went to work. Wasn’t a good thing to do at that time. They say boys will be boys…how about girls will be girls too! LOL!! Or even better…toddlers will be toddlers.
This is my chant for those days:
Someday I’ll miss this, someday I’ll miss this…
Maybe your youngest and my Bean are related somehow! I have alot of wonderful art in my home. 🙂
If you look at my post on my blog with the girls starting their first day of school, you can see under the map the lovely creation that Bean drew.
She has drawn on walls, furniture, floors, doors, etc. I think she has some artist in her. She could color for hours and hours! 🙂
The bad part of the thing is, is that we moved into our home built brand new, and the builder used flat paint on the walls. So, nope. M*jic Er*sers won’t work there. 🙁
I know it isn’t really funny but it made me chuckle as I remembered my now 14 year old daughter at age 5 drawing pics on the wall rather than going to sleep and she signed it “just like Madeline, mommy” (if you know the Madeline books you will know what i mean!). she loved all things Madeline for 3 years but after having HER clean the walls the writing never appeared again except on paper! Enjoy these times though…they grow so quickly!
Oh, the things I will have to look forward to…
I guess she inherited your artistic genes, huh? 😛 Hopefully, the pictures will be the only evidence of her early work, LOL!
Well, I must say I got a little giggle from this. It reminded me of the time my Hannah, who was about three or four at the time, painted a picture about the size of your hand on the wall…….with fingernail polish!
“HANNAH! What did you do?”
“That’s just Paw Paw Birt” she explained.
“Hannah, why in the world did you paint on your wall with fingernail polish?”
She shrugged her shoulders and very matter-of-factly said, “‘Cause I didn’t have any crayons.”

Oh Mrs. C! To be sure, one day you WILL indeed laugh! : )
As I looked at these pictures, it made me smile as I remembered my own darlings “artwork”–the most memorable being when Ashleigh went through my Bible with a purple marker drawing “pictures” and the other when Zach decided to draw a “mural” on the wall in the hallway. Fun! ; )
I guess this is a rite of passage for parents! LOL Goodness! I hope it all came off!
