This morning as I was sitting at the table enjoying a delightful breakfast, which consisted of a blueberry bagel with cream cheese and a bowl of pink grapefruit sections, I happened to look out the window and just couldn’t believe my eyes.
Snow flurries! I ran through the house calling all of the kids out onto the back porch. They began screaming, “Snow! Snow!” Of course, the flurries only lasted for a few minutes. I grabbed my camera, but all you can see in the picture below is a beautiful blue sky.
The snowflakes were quite a contrast to these lovely daffodils blooming in the garden. Just ignore the brown leaves and dead grass. 🙂 I’m so ready for spring, but I was tickled to see the snow this morning. It’s supposed to be in the low 20’s tonight. We’ll see how the poor daffodils fare.
I am sick. to. death. of. snow!!! I wish I could see some daffodils blooming. Of course that might be a lot easier without the 6 inches of snow on the ground from earlier this week. (o;
Usually I enjoy winter but it has been such a loooooong winter this year. Soooooo much snow and wind chills below zero for too many days to count.
But I am happy for you and I will just have to be patient. By the middle of summer I’ll be longing for cooler days. he he he, we’re never happy are we? (o;
Blessings,
~Mrs.B
How funny to get snow while the daffodils are out! They sure are pretty and I’m waiting for my grass to turn green too!
Hugs,
Kelli
Awww, snow! I love it–any time of year. : )
Mrs. C, I just love the last picture ~ my very favorite flowers against a bright blue sky! God is indeed a marvelous artist, isn’t he?

Thank you for sharing your beautiful photos of your beautiful morning. We are ready for spring, too, but if it snowed we would rejoice! ;o)
Thank you, too, for your prayers. ;o)

It’s kind of cold here too. Those daffodils are soooo pretty!
Same thing is happening here….the temperatures barely get above freezing, yet our tulips are starting to peek out. Crazy!
PS – Thanks for stopping by again!
The pictures are beautiful a Promise of Spring. The daffodils are a favorite, I mean is there really such thing as a FAvorite flower….such beauty, thank you

Well, I am a bit envious of your lovely weather, but I know our turn will be coming soon!
Actually, my husband just found out that he is being sent on a 3-week-TDY in April for some training in Atlanta! He says that Caleb and I can come with him, so we could be enjoying the scenery in the Peach State very soon, too. I guess my question to you is… how far away are you from Atlanta? :~D
Beautiful pictures, what a beautiful morning indeed!
Contrast indeed!
I just love those gorgeous daffodils!
