I spend the majority of my time each day in the kitchen. I good-naturedly call it “command central.” Because I cook three meals a day in our kitchen, it tends to look very lived in. Although not always spotless, I do my best to follow FlyLady’s guidelines to keeping a shiny sink. My kitchen and dining are a pretty, cheery shade of yellow.
I am so blessed to have two ovens! Believe it or not, I actually use both of them all the time. They are especially helpful when cooking Sunday dinner or baking multiple batches of cookies.
I can’t take credit for painting the cooktop backsplash; it was the work of the previous owner. The painting of apples baking in a stone oven goes well with the Sonoma fruit dinnerware we use for everyday.
What a pretty kitchen you have:) An inspiration! I love your double ovens. We had them in our home before the one we are in now. I miss them.
I saw your post on the robins nest and clicked on you name. Saw that you were new on here. Welcome to the world of blogging:)

Thanks for stopping by, Voni! Thank you for the welcome.
Dear Mrs. C.,
Thank you for your comment on my blog, mine is new too. This blogging thing is kind of neat, it is a nice way to get to “meet” others with like interests.
Your front porch looks SO inviting, I can just see strangers wanting to stop and climb into those chairs. Have you noticed that many newer homes today are not built with front porches? I think they are so warm and welcoming.
Lovely kitchen! I love the wall color, it’s similar to mine.
Beautiful kitchen! Thank you for sharing…I spend a great deal of my time in the kitchen as well and perhaps once the addition to the house is finished being built I will add a tour as well! Very lovely, thank you for sharing!
I like seeing inside other peoples homes. Nice kitchen.
Your kitchen is beautiful. I’m sure those 2 ovens are very useful!! My mom and I have always loved those. And the painting is beautiful too!! 🙂
