I am always looking for ways to include my children in the kitchen. I recently discovered Reynolds FunShapes. These are the cutest little baking cups and pans. They come in a variety of shapes. You can also find some recipes and decorating ideas here. I think we’ll try some of the Back-to-School cupcakes in our next cooking class. Yes, cooking is a fun class in our homeschool!

I really like that. I’ll be on the lookout for them.

I bought some more of these today on the baking aisle.
Too cute. I have yet to see them 😉

Those are really cute. Are they pricey?? Can they be washed and re-used??
Copper’s Wife,
I paid $1.96 for one box which contains 24 foil cups–not a bad deal! I haven’t tried to re-use them, but I think the foil is a bit too flimsy for that.
Our local Wal-Mart had them on the baking aisle next to the cake decorating supplies. The shape choices were stars and hearts.
You simple fill them 1/2 full of batter, place on a cookie sheet, and bake according to the recipe.
You can also use them with the Jell-o Jigglers recipe on the gelatin package.
I still have the little heart shaped pan my mother bought for me as a young girl. Each time she did her bread baking she let me form my own little heart shaped loaf. Of course, my little heart loaf tasted *way* better than my mother’s loaves, lol!
Mrs. C – Thanks for the price info. Wow, they’re quite inexpensive, for a fun treat, aren’t they? Somehow I just assumed that they’d be expensive. See what happens when I assume???
If any of you end up using these, I’d love to see your results!
Blessings,
Mrs. C
