Here’s the view from our sun room this afternoon. No sun, just clouds and rain. I’ve been enjoying a rather wet day at home with Bookworm. We spent quite a while this morning working on geometry and took Toby to the groomer. Bookworm also had an extra piano lesson this morning as she is in the final days of preparation for a huge competition. She’s playing away as I type, and I’m going to indulge in two of my favorite things while I enjoy a private concert.

Many good wishes to your pianist on her competition! is this a school competition or something in your town/state? My youngest has the New York State Music Association competition in June. She will be going on violin as a level 2 student…it’s her first year as they don’t typically accept kids under 5th grade.

Woo Hoo! BHG is one of my favorite indulgences too. I had to give up a couple of subscriptions but I held on to that one. It is my FAV!!
